Carnoustie Alive is a part of The Carnoustie Group of websites. It's original concept was to produce a singular database driven website devoted to the promotion of local bands venues and events.
Too much apathy, too much work for me! so instead I have decided to produce a website that is purely about entertainment. I have still left options for bands and venues to promote themselves through our own and our partner pages. But that is now up to them/you.

At this time of writing I am also working to help produce a viable community based radio station website for Wharfedale Radio and between us, we are looking into all of the options that will allow us to do this on a minimal budget. And by minimal I mean, for a couple of quid rather than for a few.
Whilst doing this it occurred to me that there was no reason why I could not use knowledge gained to produce something very similar for Carnoustie.
This is where it will be. We have recently purchased some excellent software specific to the tasks in hand. Watch it grow, watch it flow, but most of all Enjoy it if you can!
Note: Wharfedale Radio did not achieve the public licencing or the level of support they needed and have since decided to cut their losses and call it a day - a pity because some of the programming was really good.
